Scholarships
At Pauline Juliet, we believe that education is the best way to end generational poverty and empower individuals and communities. This is why our scholarship program is one of our core programs. So far, we have awarded 1,952 scholarships to orphans and low-income families in rural Uganda. Of those scholarships, at least 258 have been full scholarships (for one year of school) and at least 1,294 have been partial scholarships (updated breakdown to come).
Our scholarship program is not an isolated project but instead builds upon many other educational projects such as our scholastic material distribution, mentoring, school partnerships, and beneficiary program. Even projects like our sanitary pad distribution and sex education are designed to keep students in school and focused on their studies. PJ believes that a scholarship alone is not enough, which is why we have a holistic approach that equips students with tools and resources to succeed throughout their studies.
