Sollar Panels for Schools

2019

As a part of our partnership with 26 local schools, we have been picking a school every year for a solo project. We offer support to our partner schools in the form of classes, workshops, teaching materials like chalk, construction materials like concrete, and a teacher’s association that meets a few times a year. As our first solo project in 2019, we delivered solar panels to one of our partner schools, Young Cranes. These panels will allow students and staff to have light in the evenings. This will help pupils read books at night, more so when there is no electricity. It can also be used by students to watch tv on weekends for entertainment or to help teachers charge their phones. These solar panels were requested by the school.
